It is 6:13. Welcome back, the Kern County Sheriff's Department is looking to hire specifically in the position of Deputy Sheriff, and joining us to talk more about the position and the process is Sergeant Danish Ashley Sergeant Ashley, thank you for joining us this morning. Appreciate it. We currently have over 100 vacant positions for the Deputy Sheriff position. You're filling all 100. As far as the process goes, there is a specific process that you go through that even though you may have let's say 100 candidates, you won't be able to hire 100. Yes absolutely. It's actually a pretty extensive process for the Deputy Sheriff position which includes an initial testing period. Which comprises a written testing and physical agility testing as well as a pretty extensive background check. County HR works with my unit and our internal uh human resources unit to coordinate a proposed testing schedule for the year. The length of the process varies it's basically a case-by-case basis and lasts about eight to 16 weeks. Generally, the age of 16 weeks is the limitation. Once someone then is accepted into the program, what does it entail from there? There are three ways typically you can get accepted into our academy. The first way is as a hired deputy trainee. In that case, you'd apply online through the Kern County website. We'd vet you through the county hr. You'd start the background process with us. Which would go through my unit with Kern County Sheriff's Office. From there, the background process would go through 8 to 16 weeks. About once, you get hired on, you would attend the academy. The second way to attend the academy is as a self-sponsored student. And that way the course is certified through Sarah Cost Community College. For those veterans out there, it's a great way to utilize your GI benefits....

How to prepare CA KCSO/TRO INST
About CA KCSO/TRO INST 2024 Form
The CA KCSO/TRO INST 2024 Form refers to the California Kinship Care and Temporary Restraining Order Installation form for the year 2010. This form is primarily used in the state of California and is applicable to individuals seeking to establish a kinship care arrangement or obtain a temporary restraining order. Kinship care refers to the placement of a child in the care of a relative or close family friend when the child's parents are unable to provide proper care. The purpose of this form is to initiate the legal process for establishing such a kinship care arrangement. It provides a standardized format for recording relevant information about the child, the proposed kinship caregiver, and the circumstances necessitating this arrangement. Additionally, the form includes provisions for obtaining temporary restraining orders (TROs) to protect children from potential harm or danger. TROs are legal orders that prohibit specific individuals from contacting or coming into close proximity with the child. These orders are typically sought to ensure the safety and well-being of the child until a more permanent custody or visitation arrangement can be established through the court system. The CA KCSO/TRO INST 2024 Form is needed by individuals who are seeking to establish a kinship care arrangement or obtain a temporary restraining order in the state of California. This may include relatives or close family friends who are willing and capable of providing a safe and nurturing environment for a child, and who have concerns about the child's current living situation or potential threats to their well-being. The form serves as a crucial tool to initiate the legal process and provide sufficient information to support the kinship care arrangement or temporary restraining order request.
